Atanasio + Martinez have created some of the most visually daring commercials of the last ten years.
Crafting clever and mesmerizing films for the likes of Levis, Audi, Nike, Hermes and Nintendo. Having been selected for Saatchi's New Directors Showcase, Anthony Atanasio developed quickly into an award-winning filmmaker as his Nintendo spot picked up numerous accolades, including Best Directing & Cinematography Clios and Gold & Best-in-Show awards at the Addy’s.
Working together with partner and co-Director Valerie Martinez, the pair have directed ads for some of the largest global advertising agencies, such as Saatchi,TBWA, BBH, CHI, VCCP and AMV, while other recent European and International work includes hypnotic and enigmatic spots for Teacher’s Whiskey, Sky, and Hotpoint.
Their latest commercial offerings include spots for Diesel and, most notably, two spots for the Etihad Airways campaign, shot across three countries and both featuring Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman. The latest spot is a five minute 360 degree virtual-reality film taking us on an immersive journey upon Etihad’s Airbus A380 and into the luxurious ‘Residence’ apartment onboard.
